Agreement
By using baklyn.com you agree to these terms. Baklyn Coimbatore is an online marketplace that connects customers with independent professional bakers in Coimbatore. Baklyn does not bake the products itself.
Accounts
Keep your login details secure and provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts that abuse the platform, misrepresent a bakery, or break applicable law.
Orders & bakers
When you place an order, you buy from the baker listed on that product — not from Baklyn as the seller of the bake. Product details, allergens, lead times, and fulfilment (pickup or local delivery) are set by the baker. Use order notes for dietary needs and custom requests; the baker confirms what they can deliver.
Fees
Listing on Baklyn is free for bakers. Baklyn does not currently charge a platform commission on sales. Any delivery fee, tax, or other charge shown at checkout is disclosed before you confirm the order. Payment gateway fees, if any, are governed by the payment provider’s terms.
Seller obligations
Bakers must follow food-safety and licensing rules that apply to them in Tamil Nadu (including FSSAI where required), keep listings accurate, honour accepted orders where reasonably possible, and only claim bakeries they are authorised to operate.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse Baklyn — including fraud, scraping that harms the service, posting unlawful content, or harassing other users. We may remove content or restrict access to protect the marketplace.
Disclaimers
Baklyn is provided as available. We work to keep the marketplace reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, same-day fulfilment platform-wide, or that every baker listing is error-free. Taste, quality, and baking outcomes are the baker’s responsibility.
Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by Indian law, Baklyn’s liability for marketplace services is limited to amounts you paid to Baklyn for platform fees on the relevant order (currently ₹0 where no platform fee applies). Nothing in these terms limits rights you cannot waive under applicable consumer law.
Changes
We may update these terms as Baklyn grows. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. Material changes will be reflected with a new “last updated” date on this page.
